They toppled Norway like an old tree. It's cab lies in a little raven. A few yards closer to the anchor pad you find the sides of the cap. Closer still you will find a few twisted pieces of the metal structure. I suspect the brush holds much more to be seen when the leaves are gone.
It appears the tower toppled like a felled tree. The roof of the cab landed here.
The fall really twisted some of the steel and curled the end of the anchor bolts. I can imagine the tremendous screech, goan and shutter as she came down.
You can see the window frames from the walls of the cab which fell here. The orange flag marks the beginning of the 'official' trail in (which is partially flagged). The trail is overgrown and nearly impossible to follow.
