The tower, used from 1935 to 1956 was removed in 1976.

This box held the electrical and radio components. Inside I could see a couple of old batteries.

Newly completed Lima Mountain lookout cabin, north of Grand Marais. Log cabin shown in the woods. This CCC project was complete in May of 1936. Cabin used on the top of Lima Mountain as forest service lookout station. From the scrapbook of Albert Malner, enrollee and later Cook County Sheriff.
